From the perspectives of nine talented artists who assume the roles of wives, daughters, fathers and sons, this exhibit explores the overlooked lives and emotions of the Black men who assume the role of Father, biological or not.

Featuring original works by Aaron F. Henderson, Horace Imhotep, Georgette Baker, Grace Kisa, Charly Palmer, Chanell Angeli, Steve Prince, Charlotte Riley-Webb, Jerry Lynn.

 

"The Gift" Exhibit Vitual Experience

This exhibition will delve into the global impact of hip hop culture and its undeniable influence.  Its roots in blackness and rebellion speaks through the music, migration, fashion, and art.  From fighting to be heard to now being the voice of generations, we must honor the influence and appreciate all that has come from this art form. It's our gift to the the world! The in-person exhibit will remain open to the public  through November, free of charge. “SAY IT LOUD”

Showcase works of art celebrating black joy, optimism, and determination in the face of adversity. The featured artwork is intended to honor and pay homage to the many generations of African Americans who have faced racism, marginalization, and oppression, yet manage to find the strength to persevere and push forward. .
